Description of the programme

SecureX AquaGuard - wireless water detector for early warning of leaks

SecureX AquaGuard is a reliable and easy-to-install wireless water detector that provides immediate warning of water leaks. It is designed to detect water at an early stage and thus reduce the risk of costly water damage in homes, holiday homes and commercial environments.

When AquaGuard comes into contact with water, the alarm is sent directly to SecureX hubs, which in turn can:

  • activate alarms in the system

  • send real-time push notifications via Stonehouse Smart Apps

  • trigger further actions in your SecureX system

The sensor works locally together with the hub, which means that the water alarm itself works even without internet. Internet is only required for notifications, remote access and history in the app.

Easy placement - protects where it's really needed

SecureX AquaGuard is placed directly on the floor where water leaks most often occur, for example:

  • under the sink

  • for dishwasher or washing machine

  • in a cellar, boiler room or technical room

  • in holiday homes where inspections are less frequent

Installation is completely wireless and requires no tools. The sensor is easily mounted with the supplied double-sided adhesive tape.

Stable communication and long battery life

AquaGuard communicates wirelessly via 433 MHz (EV1527) with the SecureX hub and has up to 100 metres range in clear view. It is run by 2 × AA batteries (DC 3V) and has very low power consumption, providing long battery life and reliable operation over time.

A clear LED indicator shows:

  • alarm status

  • low battery level

  • start-up and operational status

Part of the SecureX system

SecureX AquaGuard is a sensor for SecureX and is used together with the SecureX hub. Via the hub you get:

  • centralised management of alarms

  • notifications in the Stonehouse Smart app

  • possibility to combine water alarms with other SecureX sensors
