SecureX GasShield - smart gas detector for methane and LPG

SecureX GasShield is a fast and reliable gas detector which protects homes, holiday homes and businesses against dangerous gas leaks. It is designed for early detection of both natural gas (methane, CH₄) and LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) and gives a clear warning before the gas reaches dangerous levels.

In case of gas detection, a strong alarm sound of ≥80 dB along with a clear LED indicator. At the same time, the alarm is passed on to SecureX hubs, which manages the alarm centrally in the system.

All events and notifications are displayed in Stonehouse Smart Apps, where you get full control and real-time information directly on your mobile phone.

Fast response with advanced sensor technology

GasShield uses advanced diffusion technology to react quickly to gas leaks - before the gas has time to accumulate and cause a fire or explosion hazard. This makes the sensor particularly suitable for environments where gas is used daily or where monitoring is not always carried out.

Integration with SecureX - more than just a local alarm

SecureX GasShield can be used as a stand-alone local gas detector, but maximises its functionality when connected to SecureX hubs.

Via the hub you get:

• centralised alarm management

• real-time push notifications via the Stonehouse Smart app

• possibility to combine gas alarms with other SecureX devices

• support for further action in case of alarm

For added flexibility, compatibility with Tuya and Smart Life via the SecureX hub.

Relay output for automatic safety control

GasShield is equipped with relay output (12V / 300 mA) which allows for automatic control, for example:

• solenoid valve for gas shut-off

• external siren

• other safety equipment

This provides active protection that can reduce damage even at early detection.

Stable operation and long lifetime

GasShield is powered by Micro USB (DC 5V / 1A) for stable and continuous operation. The sensor has low power consumption and a sensor lifetime of up to 5 years, providing long-lasting and reliable performance.
