SecureX MotionEye Pro - motion sensor (PIR) with LoRa and extra powerful battery

SecureX MotionEye Pro is an advanced PIR motion sensor that provides reliable surveillance in both home and professional environments. With the LoRa 868 MHz you get stable wireless communication with up to 500 metres range in clear view – perfect where WiFi or regular mesh networks are not enough.

The sensor is powered by extra powerful Li-Fe batteries which provides 2-4 times more energy than regular AA batteries. This means long operating time and high operational reliability, even in cold or demanding environments.

When motion is detected, the event is sent directly via SecureX hubs and you get real-time push notifications i Stonehouse Smart Apps (iOS/Android). Compatibility with Tuya and Smart Life is done via the hub.

Precise detection & discreet design

MotionEye Pro has 110° detection angle and up to 7 metre range, which provides accurate and fast motion detection. The stylish design fits in homes, offices and shops and is easily mounted on 2-2.5 metres in height with the supplied wall bracket.

Does MotionEye Pro work without SecureX hub?

Answer: No. The sensor must be connected to a SecureX hub and cannot be used standalone.

How do I get notifications when the sensor detects movement?

Answer: Via the Stonehouse Smart app. Motion alerts are sent in real time through the SecureX hub to your mobile phone.

Is it compatible with Tuya and Smart Life?

Answer: Yes, via the hub. It is the SecureX hub that enables the integration – not the sensor directly.

How long is the range of MotionEye Pro?

Answer: Up to 500 m (line of sight). In buildings, the range is affected by walls, concrete, metal and interference.

What type of sensor is it?

Answer: PIR motion sensor. It detects movement via changes in thermal radiation (body heat).

How large an area can it monitor?

Answer: Up to approximately 7 m and 110°. Detection range depends on location and environment.

What mounting height is recommended?

Answer: 2–2.5 m. This provides the best coverage and reduces the risk of false triggering.

What batteries are used and are they included?

Answer: 2 × AA Li-Fe 3400 mAh included. Li-Fe provides high energy output and stable operation even in harsher environments.

How long does the battery last?

Answer: It depends on activity and temperature and whether they activate the LED & 5 minute sleep mode.

The Li-Fe batteries are extra powerful and typically provide a very long operating time of up to 5 years.

Does it work in cold spaces?

Answer: Yes. The combination of low consumption and Li-Fe batteries makes it suitable even in colder environments, but the lifespan is shortened and it must be indoors and not in humid environments with temperature variations.

I am experiencing short range in the system – what do I do?

Answer: Place the sensor closer to the hub and avoid obstacles/metal between the devices or purchase SecureX SignalMax.
